The book released as a companion to the exhibition is the first ever in the history of the Museum to deal with the issue of Jewish sport in Kraków.
The Museum organized a number of exhibitions devoted to the history of sport in Kraków; one of them, launched in 2012, was concerned with the abundant history of Jewish sports clubs. In that context a publication discussing the key aspects of Jewish sporting activity is highly recommendable. The texts included in the companion offer a good insight into the origins and ideology behind Jewish sport in the Polish territory.
