Temporary exhibition
plac Bohaterów Getta

The Eagle Pharmacy, a branch of the Museum of Krakow, would like to invite you to an outdoor exhibition at Ghetto Heroes Square (Plac Bohaterów Getta).

The open-air exhibition “And We Have Never Seen Them Again” is devoted to the 80th anniversary of the deportation of Jews from Krakow this year. The exhibition presents a description of the course of deportation based on the testimonies of witnesses of the events who have survived the war. Survivors' testimonies and some of the photographs presented come from the collection of the Jewish Historical Institute. Other memories are taken from published content. We quote excerpts from a book by Tadeusz Pankiewicz, a Polish pharmacist who managed a pharmacy at 18 Zgody Square throughout the times of the ghetto. At the request of his Jewish friends, after the war, he published memoirs in which he recalled the fate of victims, especially those who had not survived, for whom no one else could speak up because their whole families had died.
