Rules for visiting the permanent exhibition in Rydlówka
1. The permanent exhibition in Rydlówka (Krakow, Tetmajera Street 28), which is a branch of the Historical Museum of the City of Krakow – hereinafter referred yo as the Exhibitions – is open from Tuesday to Wednesday from 09.00 to 16.00, on Thursday from 09.00 to 18.00, and from Friday to Saturday from 09.00 to 16.00 – subject to clause 3.
2. Visits to the Exhibition are possible as individual visits (i. e. 1 to 9 people) or group visits (i. e. 10 to a maximum of 25 people)
3. The last admission to the Exhibition is 30 minutes before closing time for individual visitors and 60 minutes before closing time for groups.
4. The exhibition route covers the original part of the building, namely the Dance Room, the Stage Room, the Alcove and the Hallway. The entrance to the exhibition is located on the eastern side of the building’s porch. The part of the building known as the Common Room in a space for educational activities; it is not part of the exhibition and may only be open to visitors when no workshops are taking place there.
5. Visitors may, via the website https://bilety.muzeumkrakowa.pl/, book a visit, purchase admission tickets and also purchase or book an additional guided tour of the Exhibition, payable in accordance with the price list set out in Annex 2 to the Museum Director’s Order No. 123/2019 of 26 November 2019 on admission tickets to permanent exhibitions at the Historical Museum of the City of Krakow. The purchase of tickets via the website is governed by the rules set out in the Terms and Conditions for Online Ticket Sales, available on the aforementioned website, subject to the provisions of these Terms and Conditions.
6. Failure to make a prior booking or purchase admission tickets may result in being denied entry to the Exhibition.
7. The Museum permits visitors to tour the Exhibitions with an external guide.
8. The maximum group size for a guided tour of the Exhibition at any one time is 25 people. The ticket tour lasts approximately 50 minutes.
9. The purchase or booking of a guided tour – must be made at least 4 days before the tour date via the website https://bilety.muzeumkrakowa.pl/
10. Visitors must purchase a guided tour service for their chosen tour date, as available via the booking system, and are required to arrive at the brancg no later than the scheduled tour time. The guide will wait for visitors for 15 minutes from the scheduled tour time, if visitors do not arrive within this time, the service will not be provided and the Museum shall not be obliged to refund the cost of the booking.
11. Individual visitors and groups booking a tour that includes a guided service are obliged to notify the Museum should they wish to cancel the service or the tour.
Notification must be given at least 5 calendar days before the tour date by email to: info@muzeumkrakowa.pl or in person at the Visitor Service Centre located at Krzysztofory Palace, Krakow, Rynek Główny 35.
In the event of failure to give timely notice of cancellation of a guided tour or a visit, those making the booking will be charged a contractual penalty of 200.00 PLN by the Historical Museum of the City of Krakow. The penalty must be paid within 14 days of the date of notification of its imposition , to the Historical Museum of the City of Krakow’s bank account no. 95 1020 2892 0000 0591 0361
Persons who have been notified of the imposition of a contractual penalty have the right to appeal against it within a strict deadline of 3 calendar days from the date of receipt of the notification. The appeal, together with a statement of reasons, must be submitted in writing to the Historical Museum.
12. Visitors are required to:
a) Follow the designated tour route,
b) Use only the internal and external public areas of the branch – entry to the private areas belonging to the owners of Rydlówka is prohibited
c) Comply with the instructions issued by Museum staff and security personnel
13. An admission ticket ir required at Rydlówka, entitling the holder to visit the permanent exhibition on the day of purchase. The price list, ticket sales rules and the day of free admission are governed by Museum Director’s Order No. 123/2019
14. An admission tickets can be purchased at the ticket office located in Rydlówka, at the Visitor Centre, and on the website https://bilety.muzeumkrakowa.pl/
15. When purchasing tickets at the ticket office, the Museum recommends using payment cards.
16. It is prohibited to bring the following items into the Exhibition:
a) Any weapons, ammunition or objects deemed potentially dangerous,
b) Explosive, flammable or toxic materials,
c) Long umbrellas,
d) Rucksacks and large luggage with a capacity exceeding 30 litres,
e) Animals, with the exception of assistance dogs accompanying people with disabilities.
17. Once you have finished your visit and left the exhibition area, you will not be permitted to re-enter.
18. At Rydlówka, it is prohibited to consume food and drink, smoke tobacco or e-cigarettes, make phone calls, or take photographs using a flash. Photo shoots and photography for commercial purposes require the Museum’s prior consent.
19. Entry to Rydlówka is prohibited to anyone who is intoxicated or under the influence of drugs or intoxicating substances, or who behaves in a manner that could endanger the safety of other people, the premises or the cultural artefacts housed therein, disrupt the order of the tour, or beach generally accepted standards of behaviour in public places.
20. Parents or guardians are liable for any damage caused by children in their care.
21. The Museum reserves the right to refuse entry to or ask to leave any individual visitors who fail to observe the rules for visiting the Exhibition or who breach these Regulations.

23. The purchase or booking of an admission ticket constitutes acceptance of the provisions of these Terms and Conditions.
