Visiting Rules for the permanent exhibition “Traces of Kraków’s European Identity” at the Rynek Underground branch
§1 General Provisions
1. The permanent exhibition ‘In the Footsteps of Kraków’s European Identity’ (hereinafter referred to as the Exhibition), presented at the Rynek Underground branch of the Historical Museum of the City of Kraków (Kraków, Rynek 1), is open to the public on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10.00 to 19.00, on Tuesdays from 10.00 to 15.00, and on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 10.00 to 20.00, subject to paragraphs 2 and 3.
2. The exhibition will be closed on every second Monday of the month.
3. Last admission to the exhibition is 80 minutes before closing time for individual visitors and 90 minutes before closing time for groups.
4. Visits to the Exhibition are available as individual visits (i.e. 1 to 15 people) or group visits (i.e. 16 to 30 people, including supervisors, a tour leader and a guide).
5. Tuesdays are free admission days for the Exhibition.
6. The Museum reserves the right to close its branches or to shorten their opening hours.

§2 Ticket sales and bookings
1. Tickets for the Exhibition can be purchased at the ticket office located at the Branch, Rynek Główny 1, entrance opposite Szewska Street, at the Visitor Centre situated in the Krzysztofory Palace, Rynek Główny 35 , and on the website https://bilety.muzuemkrakowa.pl/
2. The purchase of tickets via the website is subject to the rules set out in the Terms and Conditions for Online Ticket Sales, available on the website specified in paragraph 1, subject to the rules set out in these Terms and Conditions.
3. Failure to book or purchase admission tickets in advance may result in you being unable to enter the Exhibition.
4. When purchasing tickets at the ticket office, the Museum recommends using payment cards.
5. The time of your visit is specified on the ticket.
6. The Museum publishes ticket prices and information on free admission days on its website: http://muzeumkrakowa.pl/ Ticket prices and the cost of guided tours are set by order of the Museum Director.
7. Information on those entitled to free admission, as well as to reduced-rate and family tickets, and the types of documents that must be presented upon entry to the Exhibition confirming eligibility for a reduced rate or exemption from the Museum admission fee, is available at https://muzeumkrakowa.pl/en/discounts-and-free-admission
8. The exhibition is accessible with an exhibition ticket or, whilst the ‘Medieval Kraków’ Route is open, with a ticket for the ‘Medieval Kraków’ Route, which also includes the along with the Barbican and the Town Hall Tower. §3 Guided tours
1. Visitors may purchase or book admission tickets via the website https://biletv.muzeumkrakowa.pl/, as well as purchase or book an additional guided tour of the Exhibition. Ticket prices and the cost of the guided tour service are set by order of the Director of the Museum.
2. The Museum permits visitors to tour the Exhibitions with an external guide, provided that the guide holds the relevant authorisation issued by the Museum. The guide may obtain the authorisation referred to above upon successfully completing a training course organised by the Museum and receiving the relevant certificate.
3. The maximum size of an organised group visiting the Exhibition at any one time is 30 people, including supervisors, a tour leader and the guide. The guided tour lasts approximately 75 minutes.
4. The purchase or booking of a guided tour must be made at least 4 (four) days before the tour date, via the website https://bilety.muzuemkrakowa.pl
5. Visitors purchase the guided tour service for their chosen tour date, which is available in the booking system.
6. On the day of the tour, visitors who have booked or purchased a guided tour must arrive at the Branch no later than the scheduled tour time. The guide will wait for visitors for 15 minutes from the tour time stated on the ticket; if visitors do not arrive within this time, the service will not be provided, and no refund will be due the cost of its purchase by the Museum.
7. Individual visitors and groups booking a tour including a guided service – in the event of cancellation of the service or the tour – are obliged to notify the Museum of this fact, subject to paragraph 8. Notification must be made by email to the following address: info@muzeumkrakowa.pl
8. Where notice of cancellation of a guided tour is given less than 4 (four) days before the date of the tour, the Museum shall regard such cancellation as late, resulting in the imposition of a contractual penalty.
9. In the absence of timely notice of cancellation of the guided tour service or the tour itself, those making the booking will be charged by the Historical Museum of the City a contractual penalty of 250.00 PLN. The penalty must be paid within 14 days of the date of notification of its imposition, to the Historical Museum of the City of Kraków’s bank account no. 95 1020 2892 0000 5102 0591 0361.
10. Persons who have been notified of the imposition of a contractual penalty have the right to appeal against it within a strict deadline of 3 days from the date of receipt of the notification. The appeal, together with a statement of reasons, should be sent to: info@muzeumkrakowa.pl or in writing to the Historical Museum of the City of Kraków, Kraków, Rynek Główny 35. The final decision regarding the penalty, following an investigation, shall be taken by the Director of the Museum or persons authorised by him.

§4 Refunds
Tickets purchased at the box office are non-refundable. Tickets purchased via the website are refundable in accordance with the rules set out in the Terms and Conditions for Online Ticket Sales, available on the website specified in Section 2(1)
§5 Rules for visitors at the exhibition
1. It is prohibited to bring the following into the Exhibition:
a) any weapons, ammunition or items deemed potentially dangerous,
b) explosive, flammable or toxic materials,
c) long umbrellas,
d) rucksacks and large luggage with a capacity exceeding 30 litres.
e) bringing animals onto the premises, with the exception of assistance dogs accompanying people with disabilities.
The final decision regarding the admission of persons or items not covered by paragraph 1, a–e, shall be taken by the head of security, guided by considerations of personal and property safety.
2. Visitors must tour the Exhibition in accordance with the established route and order of visitation.
3. Once you have finished your visit and left the exhibition area, you may not re-enter it.
4. Within the Branch, in the exhibition spaces, it is prohibited to consume food and drink, to smoke tobacco or e-cigarettes, to make telephone calls, and to take photographs using a flash. Photo shoots, as well as taking photographs and filming for commercial purposes within the Branch, require prior consent from the Museum and the Kraków City Roads Authority, as well as any other necessary consents from the relevant authorities.
5. Entry to the Department is prohibited for persons who are intoxicated or under the influence of drugs, or who behave in a manner that could endanger the safety of other people, the premises and the cultural artefacts housed therein, disrupt the smooth running of the tour, or breach generally accepted standards of behaviour in public places.
6. Whilst on the premises, visitors must comply with the instructions and recommendations of the Museum’s staff and security personnel.
7. Parents or guardians are liable for any damage caused by children in their care.
8. The Museum reserves the right to refuse entry to or ask individual visitors and groups to leave if they fail to observe the rules of the tour or breach these Regulations. The decision in this regard is taken by the head of security, who is authorised to issue binding instructions, including refusal of entry and orders to leave the Exhibition premises.
9. The Museum accepts no liability for items left unattended on the premises of the Branch.
10. Items left on the premises of the Branch may be removed from the Museum grounds for reasons of safety. Unclaimed items shall be dealt with in accordance with the regulations governing found property.
